Events
Throughout the year the Group organises various events for Associates and Members.
The Group's Newsletter, published every two months, contains details of forthcoming events and articles relating to advanced driving techniques, general motoring interests and many other subjects. Alternatively see the on-line Group calendar.
Group nights
The Group meets on a social basis on the 2nd Monday of each Month. We meet at the Sports Pavilion, Police HQ, St Margaret's Road, Springfield, Essex at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start. The evening runs along the lines of:
- Time to talk!
- Announcements and Advanced Driving Test pass certificate presentations.
- A guest speaker for about an hour, sometimes with a 15 minute break for coffee.
- Time to talk - and to draw the Raffle!
Anyone is welcome to join us, you just sign in at the door and say you are a visitor and someone will introduce you to an appropriate member of the Committee.
Because our meetings take place on Police premises, visitors are requested to call the Group contact if they would like to come to the meeting.
Note - there are traffic lights at both ends of Sandford road.
